Human Detection using Infrared Thermal Imaging System

چکیده

Image processing techniques were used to enhance the recorded thermal images and to remove unwanted noise. The skin surface area centered on the tip of the face was specified by a square that covered the region using Haarlike feature method. The face is detected and then tracked. The camera adjusts its pan and tilt continuously to capture the face at center location of display screen. Experiments were performed in realistic scenarios and accurate real-time tracking with pan/tilt was achieved.
